The fuel filter is a pipeline in series between the fuel pump and the throttle body inlet.  The function of the fuel filter is to remove iron oxide, dust and other solid debris contained in the fuel to prevent the blockage of the fuel system (especially the nozzle).  Reduce mechanical wear, ensure stable engine operation, improve reliability.

The structure of the diesel filter is roughly the same as the oil filter, and there are two kinds of replaceable and rotating type.  But its working pressure and oil temperature requirements are much lower than that of the oil filter, and its filtration efficiency is much higher than that of the oil filter.  The filter element of diesel filter is mostly made of filter paper, and there are also felt or polymer materials.Diesel filter can be divided into diesel water separator, diesel fine filter.  The important function of oil-water separator is to separate the water in diesel oil.
