W-48 filter cores are heavy-duty, replaceable components designed for cold storage refrigeration systems and central air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

It contains a high formulation of activated carbon blended with activated alumina and molecular sieve. It is specifically engineered to remove harmful acids, sludge, carbon deposits, and varnish generated after a compressor motor burnout.

Moisture Adsorption: Absorbs residual moisture from the refrigerant to prevent expansion valve freeze-ups and acid formation.

Solid Filtration: Mechanically filters out metal shavings, welding slag, and other solid debris.

Wax Removal: Removes wax buildup from refrigeration oil, which is highly common in low-temperature cold storage applications.
